Went to see a friend the other day and this has occurred as a seedling - he is not sure if it is stable yet - but interesting to see if it survives and what the flower looks like - might be some years before I get an offset :(
Anyone else seen anything like this? Its got some wharfedale series in it.

Fascinating! I think there are different mechanisms by which variegation can occur but I don't recall ever see a Primula with variegated leaves. Interesting how it occurs regularly in some genera (think how many variegated hollies there are, for example) and rarely, if ever in others.

There are a few variegated Primula denticulata cvs. around, and for a while there was a variegated P.vulgaris ('A46')..  but I don't think it's still commercially available.
