harrogate show
« on: April 16, 2016, 07:53:26 PM »
I have been told today that there are complaints regarding the Harrogate Spring Show. Apparently there are works taking place and some of the growers have pulled out of the show? Their site is not specific but I think there are problems with parking.

This note is on the show website  in relation to the lack of early opening times for disabled visitors:
"Opening times

Due to building work on the showground and subsequent changes to the lay-out of the 2016 Spring Flower Show, we are not able to offer any early visitor admission. The show will be open to the public from 9.30am."

Regular SRGC advertisers winning Premier Gold awards:-

Harperley Hall (well done Gary)
Slack Top Nursery

And I see a smattering of soon-to-be advertisers winning Golds.

Recipe: Become a SRGC advertiser and the prizes will be rolling in

Nesta and the Jacques Amand team hit gold with their two exhibits at Harrogate Show - lots of SRGC Advertisers, supporters and members doing rather well at the show it seems!
'The flowers and plants in Shakespeare's Works' won gold and  had Third place awarded for innovative display. Also Gold medal for display of Fritillaria imperialis forms and other bulbs Well done!
