Advice Please
« on: June 15, 2016, 11:40:37 PM »
Can anyone help me out please - I am trying to find out the names of a low lichen or moss looking ground plant for troughs - when you press them they spring back but they look like a pad of stone or rock as it spreads - I cannot even remember where I saw them last - I have seen them at RHS in London before now though - can anyone help me please with name and photo so I can confirm this is what I am actually hunting

Raoulia, perhaps? The grey colour of some does give them the appearance of stone,

Scleranthus biflorus or S. uniflorus (Google images will produce numerous results)
