Any ideas on this one?
« on: August 01, 2016, 05:05:26 PM »
A seedling appeared two years ago, obviously Solanaceae.  I thought at first Solanum dulcamara but it is short and bushy and tha flowers are white.  I then thought maybe a chili pepper but the berries are small and black.  I forgot to remove it before the seeds were ripe but none grew last year.  This year there are loads of seedlings which will be removed long before the berries appear.

I think I've found it.  I was checking the spelling of S. dulcamara and found Solanum nigrum.  I think that might be it though the book says rarely found in Scotland.
