Paris identification
« on: January 26, 2017, 01:06:21 AM »
We got Paris seed from Philip McD in 2012.  We had labelled it Paris stenophylla and later as Paris polyphylla ssp. stenophylla.  Now Ken is doubting this identity, he recalled Philip had done a cross of Paris polyphylla ssp. stenophylla x P. luquanensis in 2012 (or at least what ChenYi sent him as that species - since deceased!), now both Philip & Ken think this is what we have here.  Philip hopes it will get as large as P. polyphylla.  Rather exciting if this is indeed the case as the seedlings are all rather striking.  Any thoughts?

lucky to be intact after last night's raging storm (the same one that struck Mississippi), torrents of rains and winds that shook this very sturdy old house to its core. +9c today.
