Dionysia Annielle looking very nice but can anyone suggest why D . sarvestanica is on its way out? It's been very damp and mild here in North Yorkshire, which I'm sure does not help. Also is it worthwhile trying to take cuttings, even though the part of the plant that is still alive is trying to flower?

I think that you're spot on Lawrence. We had a spell of foggy days in January and some plants of sarvestanica were affected in exactly the manner shown in your picture. I know Eric Jarrett also finds it one of the more temperamental species in this respect.  Its likely to prove terminal but its worth trying cuttings. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

And in picture number 3 on the upper left, a Helichrysum coralloides? If so, how old are the plants?

Yes, "margaret pringle"?  is nearly three years old and the Helichrysum coralloides, (there are two of  them there), are  over six years old.
