Kit Strange, of the Kew Gardens alpine dept., features in this interview podcast from "In Defense of Plants" blogger, Matt Candeias
Listen to her podcast here.....

Takes a little while to get into Kit's interview - but well worth listening too.

I heard it Maggi and enjoyed it immensely, but I had so many more in depth questions for Kit. I'm beginning my collection of juno irises and I have a lot to learn! Does she frequent this forum?

You could connect with her via facebook, Jamus. Kit is an SRGC member (- of course!) but not a forumist. She's also an AGS Show Secretary - busy woman!
She's a real card, too- great fun and dedicated to knowing her plants.

I was laughing out loud listening in the lab at work to her quirky anecdotes. I found myself regretting the distance between us. She's the kind of person I need more of in my life.
