Wild populations of Eranthis hyemalis
« on: February 28, 2018, 08:25:10 AM »
I was contacted by a Korean grad student in phylogeopraphy... She is looking for samples of wild Eranthis hyemalis for a genetic study so she would need samples from wild populations (not naturalised or garden escapees). She needs leaves from them, this is her prefered sampling strategy: "I usually sample about 30 individuals from one population, and the distance between the two collected individuals is usually about 30cm~1m". Now my question is if anyone on here is visitng Italy/France/The Balkans/Bulgaria/... in a period where they could take leaf-samples for her? If anyone does, please contact me through PM.
