Narcissus June 2017

We came home to find this narcissus in flower for the first time.
Grown from seed from Betty Clark in 2011, labelled "Narcissus tazetta patulus (? syn ochroleucus)", so she wasn't sure herself about the name.
Unfortunately we weren't here to spread snail pellets
cheers

Been dutifully registering some of my seedlings at last.
Little Finn (for my new grandson) - this is the daff I sold last year as 'Snippet', but then could not use the name as it was reserved for another grower.
Biondina - from a cross between a pretty hybrid from Dave Toole x Second Fiddle from Keira bulbs so it is a real 'down-under' baby.

Anne,
those are lovely new hybrids but I am biased, of course, towards your "antipodean hybrid", the little blonde
.
Here we have a couple of hoops and another tazetta in bloom:
1) 09/18T (First Stanza x unknown) from Lawrence Trevanion in Canberra
2 & 3) a "volunteer" hoop petticoat daff, probably a form of N. romieuxii,
cheers
