Mystery bulb...
« on: September 07, 2017, 02:17:16 AM »
Hi all,

I picked this up at our local Botanic Gardens plant sale yesterday, they don't know what it is. Apparently it is a little weedy.
For the life of me I can't find it in any reference books that I have.

The flowers are quite sparsely distributed, and the petals open white/cream and fade to yellow and are very thin and papery.

Can anyone assist with identifying this one?

Cheers,
Ben.

Melasphaerula ramosa. I grow it too and it's flowering at my place right now as well.

Thanks Jamus, they'll be chuffed there to finally label it.

Cheers,
Ben.
