Another Sikkim shrub
« on: October 23, 2017, 03:28:43 AM »
As usual, I snapped this picture in quick passing, again along the Zemu River north of Lachen.  I thought at the time it was a spirea because of the flower heads.  But the leaves and stems don't seem to fit.  Any help is appreciated.
Thank you !

Spiraea bella is on YouTube, being blown by a breeze.  It looks like yours.

Thanks for finding that video, Diane.  It certainly shows that the stems match the ones in my photo.  It was nice to know I'm not completely crazy -- it IS a spirea.   :)
