Narcissus reading material ?

Can anyone recommend any books for a new Narcissus admirer ?

Something that covers the basics / species / heritage and older classics ?

Hi Deee,
in terms of miniatures, I still think one of the best books is "Modern Miniature Daffodils: Species and Hybrids" by James s. Wells (1989).
Also still worth getting is "Narcissus: A guide to Wild Daffodils" by John W. Blanchard (1990).
However we are waiting for a re-vamp or updating on these (looking hopefully at Anne Wright, Matt Topsfield ).
The Narcissus pages on the Forum here have lots of info and should be studied assiduously by anyone interested in daffodils,
