Iris atrofusca
« on: February 12, 2008, 04:22:50 PM »
Hello all,

I am looking for seed or pollen of Iris artofusca - unfortunally the mature plant I grow is virused (certainly seperated from my other plants) - and I am interested to destroy this plant as fast as possible - grows anyboy else  this species and could help me with seed or pollen?

Thanks a lot, Hans

Well done!,

Ask John Lonsdale, I'm sure he could keep the pollen of his plants. But I don't know if he could have problems to send you this kind of parcel, maybe he needs Phytosanitary Certificate.

Hello Pat,
No, nothing ::) - it is not very common in cultivation - In any case it will not bloom this year - so I will wait till next and self it if necessary - sometimes you can get some seed by this way.
