News from David Shaw of extra excitement for those attending the Nairn SHow on 28th April .....
"We have a very special entertainment for you. At 1330 massed pipe bands will parade down Viewfield Road (that is the access lane to the Community Centre) on their way to the Links. Nothing is too much trouble for Highland Rock Garden Club!"

For the second year in a row, David Millward has won the Forrest Medal at the Highland Show in Nairn with a superb pan of
Saxifraga pubescens 'Snowcap"
- Well done David ! Photo from Julia Corden.
Looking at the photo from last year, shown earlier on this page, it seems the plant is even better this year.

And to prove the point about the Pipe Bands - this from Hilary Butler ......
Sorry to hear that Carol Shaw was not feeling up to visiting the show today - but good to know that she is making great progress after her recent major surgery. Hope the recovery continues well, Carol - and Happy Birthday !!

Sandy didn't make it to this year's Nairn show - but here is his report, recalling past times and with photos from Stan and Ian C.
