Last few, only one plant left and that is
Iris schachtii from Lionel Clarkson (27) 615396-0
The team writing Award Certificates 615398-1
Sales tables near the end of the day 615400-2

It was quite a contrast on arriving home last night, Stocksfield was warm and sunny (20C) whereas Glasgow was cold and cloudy (12C) so when I got back had to start to water greenhouse stuff rather than have a refreshing drink (mind you made up for it later).
Mr Kidman was in good fettle all the way home, as he should have been given his results of the day and once the Sat Nav got us out of Glasgow we had a decent drive back with only light traffic so home by 6-15, nice.

Unfortunately, one of our members lost 2 of her rings, including her engagement ring, at the Show yesterday.  Both were gold, one set with 5 diamonds, the other with a single pale blue stone. Because she was working in the kitchen she had taken them off and put them in her spectacles case.  Later when she was viewing the Show she took out her specs to read the plant labels and it might have been at that point the rings fell out. Nothing was found on the floor when we cleaned up at the end. So it is a distinct possibility that they fell into a Show or nursery pot and, presumably, might still be sitting there. Thus, I am appealing to all exhibitors and nursery folk to be vigilant
in checking the top dressing of your pots. If they are found  then my number is   0141 944 2411. Many Thanks.

On a different note, Saturday was a cracker of a Show and a great way to finish my 20 year stint. I shall, in a day or two, write a more formal thank you to all of you for the past 20 years.
