This is my outdoor Campanula betulifolia. It was grown from Club seed in 2016 and is flowering for the first time. I last grew it 20 years ago. I
photographed it before it was fully out because the unopened buds are attractive. Also, I was afraid the recent gales and (very welcome) rain might spoil it. It has taken ages from the initial appearance of the flower buds for them to open. Is it me being impatient, the weather conditions or is it characteristic of the plant?
