We used to have several forms of Trillium undulatum but they have dwindeld over the years and we never got good seed set on them... they are SO lovely, though, we should seek out new seed , too.

OK. I'm having a really good laugh about this.
Just take a look at the number of times the photos have been viewed.
24 times for Sherba
19 times for where we fell
,,,,and the poor old plants come in a poor third.
Now what is that telling me?

Now, Alan and Sherba, don't be thinking that we're a morbid lot, showing more interest in your misfortunes than the plants.... it is a question of MORE CONCERN, honest!
Actually, it is a fact that every time people appear in photos, those pix are more viewed than the plants....  iit also emphasises my assertion  of the importance of the Forum in bringing together members from around the world...it is the "meeting" people and getting to know them that is a huge factor in keeping interest alive.... we get to "know" eachother, swap plants, seeds, moans and triumphs.....a more complete social intercourse than is possible otherwise for such a widespread membership.....and if we get to see Sherba with mud all over  her trousers, so much the better

And I concur with your comments about the 'community'. There's a great bunch of people on here and I enjoy every minute I get the opportunity to be online.

Yes, I have also noticed that pictures of people in the shows sections always get more hits than pictures of plants.  Very strange   

But I've greatly enjoyed this thread, thanks to Alan and Sherba for showing these fantastic plants growing in nature.

in a more leafy soil (including some peat moss) than I did before.
