One question: Those plants ON the tufa rocks (for ex. 88) were put as seeds there, or were planted seedlings, or rooted "ready" plants please? I never managed to keep alive a mature plant planted in a hole of a rock (I don't think here was excess of water guilty). Now I think maybe should try with seeds or seedlings?

The plants on tufa have all been planted as very small plants, as I recall at 1 year seedling size.
