Early open day at Picton Garden
« on: February 06, 2019, 02:42:47 PM »
Helen Picton writes that she and Ross Barbour  are pleased to be able to share the Picton Garden this February on the 22nd. They  are opening on behalf of the NGS for a rare chance to see the garden in the middle of Winter. There won't be any daisies in flower but there should still be lots of colour and interest.

Thanks Maggi, that's fabulous.
I used to think Winter dragged on forever but now it just flys passed in no time at all. It's slowly becoming my favourite season, if only it wasn't so cold!

Thank you Maggi for posting those pictures. I love asters but those winter (or here I would say spring) scenes are so beautiful and inspiring. I like that they have wood logs in the edges of beds, and the meandering paths, so lovely!

I agree that the Picton garden looks very inviting!

A few more photos of the Picton garden which is open tomorrow  - to encourage those who can  visit to do so - and to show others what we're missing!
