Lovely day today with a hazy sun in a blueish sky and temperature around lunch-time hovering close to 14C. So good for the first visit of the year to Knighshayes Court just outside Tiverton in Devon probably a 45 minute drive for us.
First three general views:-
Camellia transnokoensis, native to Taiwan with a most beautiful scent. (two pictures)

Horse racing in GB has been abandoned recently owing to cases of equine flue. It hasn't bothered this chap though!
Lovely clumps of Dogwoods around the garden of which this is just one.
I do like dark forms of Crocus tommasinianus, and just two here.
Not many Narcissus cyclamineus around the garden, but a small clump here.

... and to finish, well there had to be some Snowdrops, all over the garden. Just a few pictures here with the last two showing what I thought to be the longest Snowdrop I've ever seen. Must have been a clump of around 30 cms high. Can anyone say what it is?

Thanks for responding Julia, Leena and Luc, glad you enjoyed the pictures. It's nice to get a response, doesn't happen as often as it used to these days. I'm just preparing to post some more pictures of Fridays trip to The Garden House, hope you get chance to look at them later on.
