More info on Hyline grandiflora?
« on: October 18, 2020, 11:40:09 AM »
Hello all,
I bougt bulbs of Hyline grandiflora in the Mars 2020. The bulbs ar just now growing leaves, and I tried to find some more information on this plants origin, and habits. I have lost my side notes from the ordering. Any information is most welcome. It seems that the sellers (Himalyan gardens) website is inactive, and also there information would be appreciated.
TIA,
Torbjörn, Sweden
P.S.
If someone can recommend an even better place for my questions, please tell.
D.S.

I think hyline is a synonym for the amaryllid known as Griffinia.  Not sure about grandiflora.

Thank You both so much. I failed at my search, so asked. Now even I found the old references to this wrongly (?) labled plant from HG.
But I am not unhappy, my plants are still very nice plants :-)
Any one knows the state of the distributor Himalayan gardens? The website is unreachable.

We  cannot  reach  them or the  website  from here, either - a  mystery indeed.
