Epimedium
« on: April 15, 2020, 03:52:00 PM »
Maggi, if there is a more appropriate thread for epimedium please feel free to move this to where it ought to be.

This epimedium was planted a few years ago when I put in new shrubs along a fence. It has grown happily there and when I hoiked out one of the now dead Leylandii stumps that had rotted I was amazed to find the epimedium flowering away at a height of 3 feet.  I can’t remember which one it is but it sure is big!

Don’t remember buying that one, but I may grovel around for the label later.  I’ve never seen one grow so tall before...

I have now crawled under and found the label.  It is indeed Pink Champagne, got it from Edrom Nursery!  It’s a cracking good plant but so tall!  Thanks Arisaema ....
