Dichondra
« on: May 22, 2020, 02:18:46 PM »
Hi
Pick up a tiny pot of this year’s ago and fell asleep on the job off containing it, now its
Blanketing the garden, so for some year’s now I have let it go regardless, cos it does look quite nice.
doesn’t seem to affect the azaleas and rhodos up till now, and I know it thrives on my ericouse feed.
Has anyone else had experience with this Plant?

Crikey! Is that it, becoming  ground  cover  all over the  border?
Well I never- had  no idea  it  was  hardy  enough to  do that, I always think of  these  as  being  houseplants!

Hi Maggie
I Can’t be sure what it is, I’ve always known it as (mind your own business) when I looked that up online Dichondra came up with lots of other’s that looked similar.
It does suffer frost damage on the tender bits in the harsher winters, then it bounces back.
Regards
John

Not Dichondra but Soleirolia soleirolii or Helxine soleirolii, known here as "Baby's Tears" https://www.epicgardening.com/baby-tears-plant/
