Colchicum bulbs are very big! In August I divided some and took this picture then. Scissors are big kitchen scissors as I didn't have anything else to compare with at the time.
I have planted them quite deep, but they seem to come closer to the surface in time. Maybe that happens when they become too crowded..

Three years ago I bought C. x byzantinum 'Album' which is the same as 'Innocence' I read now in Colchicum book.
'World Champion's Cup' is a new one for me, planted this summer, and so is also 'Rosy Dawn'
In the last picture there is 'Emerald Town on the left and 'William Dykes' on the right.
