seedling in a trough
« on: May 12, 2008, 10:56:20 PM »
This plant has appeared in one of my troughs. I pulled it out last year around this time but it's now come back bigger than ever

Looks like an Actaea, Mark. A. spicata perhaps........you haven't a plant that might have come from us in that trough, have you? We have Actaea as a weed in most places!!

Mark,

I had been going to suggest an Astilbe by the leaves, but that flower definitely is not that.  Rather interesting little flowers!!
Cheers.

Hello Mark,

it really looks like an actaea indeed; actaea pachypoda perhaps...
