Please help me to identify.
The plant should be a true species from China, but ..... )
I think it is probably L. henryi or L. leichtlinii var. maximowiczii
I tried it with the identification key from e-flora china, from now on I can't and don't want to dig up the onion :-(
by the way: the flower had real "warts" on the inside
Thanks for help.

Hi Bernd, definitely not
henryi
, that has broader leaves and rather pale orange flowers. It could be
leichtlinii
but is different to the form I am familiar with (leaves are narrower and generally less robust).
The narrow grassy foliage makes me think
L. pumilum
, but I think that is usually unspotted. Maybe a hybrid?

Thanks Tristan_He, I can't rule out a hybrid. Unfortunately I have not received any feedback on any platform except from you. It seems to be very difficult with the lilies?
I hope that maybe someone else from the department will post their thoughts here :-)
Warm greetings
Bernd

You're welcome Bernd. There is quite a useful online key here:
http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=2&taxon_id=118558#KEY-1-47
Other one it might be is
L. davidii
?

Hi Bernd,
I agree with Tristan, If this is a species, then L. davidii is most likely. There are many different forms of that species but both flower and foliage broadly align there. In reality, it is more likely a hybrid. L. davidii hybridizes readily and there are many out there. Many would be greater than 75% L. davidii.

I think Neil is right - L. davidii, or a a hybrid of davidii . Davifii does indeed have raised spots on the petals. I grew seed wild collected in Yamanashi prefecture, labeled as L. leichtlinii v maximowiczii. The spots and pattern was somehow distinctive. Honestly, I wouldn't know if these are the real thing or not.

And these are what is available here in the USA as v maximowiczii that my friend grows. They are much more robust, 60-80cm high, with wider, very shiny foliage.
