does anyone know what happened with Jan Jilek?
I ordered some seeds from him in March and I’m wondering if they will be sent.
I have already sent him emails for several times but until now got no reply.

These  questions  about  Jan come  round  every  few  months- he  is  certainly  not  a regular  corrspondent- yet there  are  usually  some  people  who have  just  heard  from  him or  received their  order!

Yes, when I ordered the seeds I paid them at the same time. I hope it wasn’t an error.

Hopefully somebody who has heard from him recently will post to let you know.

I bought from Jan Jilek for many years and always sent payment after receiving the bulbs/seed. In February 2018 I sent payment with my order as he had been unwell and I thought he might appreciate the cash upfront. I trusted him as he had always sent my orders in previous years (often with some extras). Unfortunately he never sent my order and never replied to numerous emails sent to two different email addresses. I have repeatedly tried to contact him but I get no response.

Unfortunately I am several hundred euros out of pocket. What upsets me more is the fact that, prior to this I had a very good and friendly relationship with him. He sells an interesting range of bulbs and seeds which are not available elsewhere and sadly these plants are no longer accessible to me.
 
I hope you succeed in getting in touch with him and hopefully you might still get your seed.

He has updated his website for 2022 (and raised his prices). It's too bad that he is so unreliable. He has never replied to any email I have sent. I would love to order from him as I haven't been able to get seeds for the early blue ephemeral corydalises, like c. ambigua and c. remota anywhere else, but hearing your experiences does not inspire confidence!
