... there is a note on his site saying he can only send within the EU...  and Brexit is now on the horizon folks ...  I didn’t vote for it!

I received bulbs in Switzerland, a non-EU country, without problem. However, this may be because the Swiss negotiated a deal which gives them the same status (for plant movements) as an EU country. I fear that this topic isn't a high priority for the UK's incompetent "highly skilled" negotiators.
