We did in fact have such pots at the last Frit Group meeting. It is possible we could do so again in future, but I cannot promise it - these were obtained privately through someone else, not via my work. I cannot use my position at work to order things for other people - all orders have to go through our official ordering system and are paid for by the RHS for departmental use - I can't then go taking these to sell to other people. And on my own I have no more clout with commercial suppliers than you do. I hope nevertheless that you see me as friendly man!

they have 10cm x 10 x11; 11 x 11 x 12; 13 x 13 x 13; 15 x15x 20, and other sizes.

Excellent firm, I use them for 7 and 9cm square pots, and they give very prompt delivery

Thanks David, but depth is my aim, I expect to get a less wet surface.

The best prospect I've found in the UK is 11.2x8.9x13.5cm at LBS which might fit seed trays (22x36cm), but are too big for seedlings.

Searching for "Viereck-Töpfe" on Google there seem to be deeper pots in Germany, e.g. 7x7x18cm on ebay.de

I had intended replying to your question, but my computer played tricks and I lost the thread.

I have found a source in the UK for pots 10 x 10 x 17 (1.4L).  They are sold by FARGRO in Littlehampton - approx cost £18.50 per 100.  Ref is PBQ10
