Unknown Primula

I got this Primula labelled Primula florida. From pics on the net I don't think that is correct. So I would be happy if anybody can identify it for me.

Pure guess here, but could it be a cortusa - Cortusa matthiola, perhaps?

No it is not a Corthusa. I have several Corthusas in my garden, and this Primula has much bigger flowers than the Corthusas. But judging from the foliage I guess it might be in the Corthusoides section of Primulas.

Primula polyneura maybe? though I think that has bell-shaped flowers.

I've been thinking of P. polyneura myself, but my plant is not quite like the pics I find on the net or in books.

I think it is right Magnars Primula came from the Cortusoides section, but I am not sure it is P. polyneura. According to John Richards book have P. polyneura greenish-yellow to orange eyes. I look on the description of the members of the Cortusoides section and can only find P. geraniifolia the got a white eye. I think also I can remember Primula minkwitziae got at white eye, but I am not sure.

I think P. geraniifolia is the best suggestion so far. There are very few photos of it on the net though,, I only found one, and it didn't really look like my plant, even if the leaves were pretty much the same. I guess there might be variations within the genus.

Was surfing the forum and read your post on the primula species...I grow a variety of primula...whatever I can get in the exchanges and would hazard a guess that the mystery plant is primula kisoana...fairly common and readily available.  See the following website.
