Could it be, perhaps, Corydalis 'Kingfisher' a hybrid from Keith Lever, between C. cashmeriana and flexuosa? It looks like your plant and has the summer-long flowering period.

It could be Kingfisher...
Ian: how "recent" is a recent introduction. I bought this plant two or three (max.) years ago at the garden days at Beervelde.

Ian,
The plant I got as C. curviflora looks nothing like that although I have never bothered to check out the name as the plant is not really worth growing. Mine has very distinctive foliage and a miserable dirty pale lilac flower. You can have a bit if you want
If your C curvifolia is right then that means I have to start working out what I have

Hi Susan, I have taken this picture of what I have as Corydalis curviflora which came to me from Cyril it is very free flowering and I doubt this is the mystery plant as I would be very surprised if any garden centre/nursery had it for sale, cheers ian the Christie kind

The C. curviflora seems to have more red in the stems. So I'll stick to "Kingfisher".
