Looks like the plant Hannelotte Kindlund calls Gentiana algida ssp purdomii, see

I'd need to see a plant - preferably in a pot and sitting on my patio table. ;D

We should have guessed that Hannelotte Kindlund would know the plant  8)

The flower markings are most attractive, are they not? It will be interesting to hear from you, Hans, how the plant performs in future years... for instance , will it grow thicker or need frequent splitting and replanting to maintain vigour?
