Unknown Amarillydaceae
« on: September 21, 2008, 11:11:04 PM »
Hello

Does anyone has any idea of what this bulb plant might be?

I do not have my camera with me today, so i had no other choice than taking these poor pictures (sorry) with my PC webcam.

The underside of the young leaves is a bit reddish

Many thanks
Mike

Wow HAns, you are amazing!

By the way is there any way of discovering if this is the species or the hybrid, just based on folliage?
Aand the flowers of both are similar? I have made a searc, and they mixt them together...

I bought my plant at a local store, last week. At first i didnt liked it, because i thought it was another variegated thing, butat a closer lok, i just realized that it was a very special plant, as the variegation pattern was only on the middle of the leaf and was constant. Then i brought it home!
