Gerd....Your idea for A. capillipes is right on, I believe. It's the first species I have considered in my identification search that actually matches the foliage/bark (young and mature) quite perfectly.

The following picture of the leaves are almost a perfect match for mine. Thank you so much!!!!
Now I can finally add it to my seed list...
