If I sent anyone seed of Berneuxia yunnanensis this past autumn please be patient. Usually the seed sprouts in three weeks surface sown under lights and in a plastic bag. Sometime in the last two weeks 5 seedlings have appeared from a 30 August 2008 sowing, that's 4 months to sprout. The temperature in the basement where they are is a bit cooler than usual due to a new more efficient furnace but only by a couple of degrees celsius. I was getting rather distressed about having sent so much seed out that possibly was not viable. Now to keep them growing.
