It was a shame that not so many people or nurseries were able to come. It was not so much the conditions at Loughborough  but the local conditions for the nurseries that kept them away.

As the main spring show will be in a few weeks I am sure that barring accidents the next one will be better attended.

Rob Hope you had no difficulties in getting home ?

Anne Nice snowdrops . Is that South Hayes at the back? I presume those had been pre ordered  :o

Anne, I'm sure the snowdrops are very nice but I have only eyes for the lovely hepatica.  I'd love to see a close up photo of that one.

And I would too Anne.  Nice looking plant, nice price tag!   ;D

The other two snowies were Trymlet and Trimmer (that's the South Hayes lookalike from Rannveig Wallis), neither of which were pre-ordered, but we did get there early and dashed straight for the plant stalls!
The Hepatica is 'Hakurin' from Edrom, who had lots of lovely ones, but I'd already cleaned myself out with the snowdrops, and had to borrow some from my husband ( to whom I'd given instructions NOT to lend me any more, but who fortunately never does anything I say ), so I limited myself to one . For now.

I wish I had birthdays like you have just had. I'm chasing 'Godfrey'. I was given two small non flowering bulbs but they have remained small.
