Chrysolepis chrysophylla
« on: December 20, 2010, 02:26:47 PM »
Hello you all.
Mr. Barstow told me in his mail, I should try this forum for my enquiry. For many years now I´m searching some seeds of Chrysolepis chrysophylla, but was not able to find any. Do someone here know, where I can get some seeds of this plant or where I can find a source?
Seeds of Chrysolepis sempervirens I found this spring. The seedlings do well so far. But even Californian nurseries don´t have seeds in stock.
So maybe here I will find help. This would be great.

Do you know the IOS (International Oak Society)? There are members from California. Must send a mail, to find out the person doing the seed exchange currently.

Another possibility to find contacts, is the University of British Columbia Botanical garden Forums, where they have a specific forum about Fagaceae:

Good luck for your search, Zundao!
