Stephen,

Theoretically, Post Office Farm has double yellows (I haven't actually seen any, just recently bought a seedling).  I've never seen double blacks in Aus unfortunately, but some of the double blacks I have seen on the UK sites are absolutely to die for.  I don't think I've even seen pictures of a double apricot?  :o

Sounds like you're another hellebore addict like myself.  ;D  Just got to love them.  8)
Cheers.

Hi Paul,

Yes I saw the offering of double yellows at Post office farm nursery but was late. You can see his flowering helle's 9th august at Parker's Nursery, in Sydney, worth seeing, dazling colours.

check out this link, looks like the Americans are leading the way with their breeding programe not only apricot doubles but so much more. http://www.northwestgardennursery.com/doubles.html

Dear Stephen,
Witton Lane Seeds has just issued their new seed list. It had a range of colour selected doubles on it.
They have not posted it on their website yet (I received mine by email from them), but if you contact them, I'm sure they will send you one.
Sorry, but I deleted mine.

Thanks Lesley and Guy,

I did look at Barnhaven and yes some good primulas there too.

Has anyone bought Hellebore seed from Phedar nursery, species or hybrids? Are his hybrid doubles any good?
Cheers

Guy, those are very nice hellebores and if you have a little spare seed later, I'd be very interested but you mustn't feel you owe me anything. You don't. No-one does.

Stephen,

Re the double yellows, try to track down some of Barb Jennings' stock. She did some good crosses involving Gunther Jurgl.
