Carlo - Sorry to say a resounding no. Pity.
I have been trying to create some big-leafers by crossing such species with the super hardy brachycarpum vr Tigerstedtii. Always considered giganteum too tender. George at the Phipp's estate is making great headway using macabeanum. Can send you some shots if you pm me.
