Hi, Kaye, really great to see the progress.
Horrified by loss of Sax. 'Dracula'... there has been talk in other threads (esp. Galanthus) about theft.
The nerve and lack of morality of these thieves would curl your hair, wouldn't it? Too much to hope, i suppose, that 'Dracula' will seek his revenge?!!

I like the Bamboo curtain along the front of the alpine house bench. It is great not to see all the odds and ends which multipy up under benches, set off the plants really well.

Also my warm welcome to the forum Kaye.
It is good to see the Utrecht inspired planting I was SO inpressed with what we saw there on that very wet day.
I never miss an opportunity to spread the word on the excellent work done at Utrecht.

I would love to have seen something along the lines of Utrecht being employed in the New Alpine house at Kew. That I think would not only be stunning but could inspire a whole new wave of alpine/rock gardens using recycled materials.

How easy is it to make the alpine spheres?
