Iris ID wanted, please
« on: June 11, 2009, 08:08:09 PM »
Can anybody help me to identify these 2 Iris species?  Both are seed raised and grow
in full sun, the labels have gone somehow lost.

Rudi,

Both are at least closely related to Iris sibirica as far as I can see, but more than that I can't tell you?
Cheers.

Min winter temp -8 or -9°C. Max summer temp 40°C. Thankfully, maybe once or twice a year only.

Anne Karin and Paul, many thanks for your help with the identification.
It is always a pleasure for me to take a virtual visit to your gardens and
have a closer look to your beautiful plants.
