Scottish Gardens open in October
« on: July 18, 2009, 08:26:19 PM »
Hi -- My husband and I are planning a trip to Scotland in the beginning of October.  Are there still public or private gardens to see at that time?  Or is it too late in the year?  Would be grateful for suggestions.

Hi marianne,
Most gardens around here don't close until 31st Oct. Gardens with good autumn colour are Branklyn Gardens,Perth http://www.branklyngarden.org.uk/ and Cluny House Gardens, Aberfeldy http://www.clunyhousegardens.com/ but then again you must have the best Autumn colour going. :)

Thank you Susan, it is good to know we will be able to see some gardens, even if it is late in the year.
