Colchicum ID ?
« on: September 12, 2009, 09:44:16 PM »
I've got a large white flower appearing from nowhere, with no leaves at all.  It looks crocus like, but at this time of year I think it must be a colchicum.  It has not opened yet, but when it does, how will I know whether its a colchicum or crocus?  What's the identifier for both please?
