Joking with Luc about travelling to Australia ( in another thread...oblique reference made here  ;) ).... made me think about his Channel Hopping and the internal UK distances to shows......  so here are the distances given by a search engine forthe respective journeys from Lu, in Harelbeke, Belgium to the Rainham AGS show, and for the journey from Aberdeen, for (little old stay-at-home) me!....
For Luc....  Miles: 122.04    Kilometers: 196.40  ( I appreciate this includes the Channel!!)

 For me....   Miles: 413.82    Kilometers: 665.96   :o

So, I'll just be there in spirit, David!!  :)

We are looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday, I think the Channel will be smooth for the "Hoppers". Have a safe journey.
Ill leave you with a picture of last year's Farrer Medal plant.
Best Wishes David.

We can't wait, Maggi.  But before then, see you at the weekend.  Will Lily be coming too?

Lily is off down the road to my dear friend Linda for the weekend, where Lily will be kept very busy playing and teaching Linda's very young mini Schnauzer puppy how to behave in polite society!

She was there while we were at Stratford for the AGS "do" the other weekend and is besotted with the wee pup!

For the Ponteland show I will have puppy Jak here, and Figo the cocker spaniel!
