Dactylorhiza in pots

Does anyone grow Dactylorhiza in pots? What is the best mix for them?

Hello mark

I use for romana
2 parts seramis, 2 parts perliet and 1 part buzz cuzz cocos

For lapponica, maculata, majalis, saccifera, sambucina, traunsteineri I use
1 part peat
1 part perliet
1 part buzz cuzz cocos
1 part sand

For incarnata, praetermissa, praetermissa junialis
I use the same for maculata + 1 part potting soil

Excellent information Frans - I will certainly make a note of that.

These days I only grow them in pots by accident - my pot of Lillium macklinae has a lovely crop of D purpurella 'weeds' in it.
