Giles, can you give a little information about your avatar picture please. So far as I can tell from the small image, it appears to be an effigy of Billy the Conk or someone of that period.

It's the effigy of 'Sir Giles Reed' on his tomb,at St Giles's Church, Bredon (near where I go to college).

I died a while ago, but nobody seemed to notice ......

 I knew that it would have made a difference if you had arranged for a chocolate fountain at the wake, Giles..... but you wouldn't listen.........

Had to look at this thread just to see what it was about
I was going to post a couple of photos of similar grave monuments seen in Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris but I have not scanned them into this laptop. One of a man getting out of a grave.
