Zephyranthes ID
« on: January 21, 2011, 01:42:02 AM »
Hy,
Does anyone know the name of this pretty zephyranthes?
It grows in sandy slopes, nearly without water.
I found it flowering at early summer.
Thanks!

It is located in General Alvear, Mendoza. In Slopes far away from the city. I travelled around 50 km in an unpavimented road.
I had looked, but I think it's not there. Later I'll give it another look.
Thanks!

Hy, It's very similar. I don't know the distribution of Z. Longifolia.
In another forum it's been identified as Z. Filifolia.

Yes, At fist time, I think she is Zephyranthes filifolia too.

But after follow flow chart from http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=1&taxon_id=135293
They say, she name Zephyranthes longifolia
