Bulb Log 01/08/07
« on: August 03, 2007, 09:15:02 AM »
Another excellent log as usual, very dramatic storm cloud picture.

Is it my system or is there a picture missing ?

The first Fritillaria camschatensis picture seems to go with the second paragraph !

Well spotted Andrew, I hadn't noticed there is a picture missing and one out of place, I will ask Fred to sort it for me.

Ian, I hope Carlo was refering to the length of time you have been growing bulbs and not to your age when he said in his piece in the NARGS bulletin that the VETERAN seed sowers from over the pond said sow bulb seeds deep Going by Maggies looks you cant be a day over 40.
Congrats on the anniversary.

Derek

A reminder of a way to search the Bulb Log:  Go to www.google.co.uk    ( or google.com)
type : site:http://www.srgc.org.uk/bulblog snowdrop      .... substituting what you are searching for for the snowdrop

Thank you Franz, every day I learn about bulbs and plants.
I have so much to learn and it is good to share the knowledge.
We can all learn so much more by sharing information and plant pictures on our web site and forum.
