more galanthus for ID.....
« on: February 27, 2011, 02:35:18 PM »
Hello Folks,  Susan Tindall in  Northern Ireland has sent me pictures of these two 'drops for which she hopes you can help her to find IDs....... the first is this one:
270510-0

And she also has another snowdrop she  wishes folks to look at, it was given to Susan  years ago by the late Paddy Ryan.  He called it Ketton, but it is not......

Susan must have given up on me visiting her this week

I agree with ikariae

Could the second be a poorly marked Edinburgh Ketton

When the swifts arrive empty the green house

I only thought about broken 'arms'. I have never seen this snowdrop growing at Susans so when I go I'll be able to see how variable/stable it is.
