I was looking for the "other, non alpine" thread but couldn't find it.
My question is about mint. I love it, especially as a night cap. Can anyone suggest the best method for drying and storing it?
My granny used to dry all herbs such as chamomile, mint, even raspberry leaves in the oven. It was an old fashioned coal fired stove, no idea what temperatures were used. She laid them on a baking tray and when they were shrivelled, they came out.
But I don't remember how she stored them. Can anyone help?
